Parent/Educator Resources
Welcome to the new page for Parent and Educator Resources. I wanted to include articles and book reviews I run across for you to consider in your journey to raising your child. No one has all the answers. I know I made many mistakes with my children and I am so thankful for those who gave me advice and consideration along the way. I am also glad for books and articles. And just like with everything else, I use a rake and shovel method, rake in all those things that make sense and really feed your soul and your belief system, and even those that challenge you. However, be prepared to shovel out that which you know to be complete malarkey.
If you have suggestions for books and articles, please send them my way... It takes a village and we are in this together. Even though COVID is trying to keep us apart, we can come together sharing ideas and ways in which we know to get through to our Middle School students.
*****I am not saying GO BUY THIS or GO BUY THAT.., by any means... you use your own judgment for any purchase you decide to make.
I just read this article: 02-10-21 - It is a good read and you might enjoy it for your own children, especially in our society and how much we are changing here in Fayette County.
