Good morning! Yearbooks are in! However, if you ordered online after May 9th it has not arrived yet (it could come in today or tomorrow, we will call you individually when it does). If you ordered online before May 9th it is in! If you ordered your yearbook with cash or check you may come pick it up today or tomorrow! We will be at the school today until 4. Tomorrow we will be there 9-4. Thank you for ordering our yearbook and I hope you have a great summer!

Dear New River Panther Families, Bus 2099 in the pm tomorrow Friday, May 3, 2024 will be on Plan B. The bus will pick up the students from New River Primary at 1:00 PM to take them home. If you would like for your child to stay the entire day at school you may send a note and you may pick them up in the car rider lane after school at regular dismissal time.

Dear New River Primary, Bus 2067 will be following a plan B schedule tomorrow. Mr. Daniel Logan will be doing Carol Pittman's run plan B. He will be at New River Primary at 12:30 for run 1 and then return for run 2 at approximately 1:00 PM. Parent please plan to be at the bus stop a little early as the time for run 2 for bus 2067 is an approximate time. Thank you.

Dear NRP Families, I have two announcements: First next week will be the last week for afterschool tutoring for our students. We will only have two buses running and your child or children may arrive home a little later than normal. Finally, We are in the last few days of school and we will not be checking out any more books from the Bookmobile. We will start collecting bookmobile books and those need to be returned to the school on Monday and Tuesday of next week. This is April 29, 2024 and April 30, 2024. The bookmobile staff will be coming in the afternoon to pick the books up at the school. If you do not return the books you will recieve a bill from the library to pay for the books. So, start looking for the books now and get those turned into the school.

Dear Staff, I am sending this on behalf of Julie Brown. She will be collecting money for retirement tomorrow. So, please bring your money. She would also appreciate it if you would pay your Sunshine Committee dues as well if you have not done so. Thanks

Dear New River Primary Panther Families, I wanted to let you know that we had a fire drill and we practiced out In an emergency Take Action Drill HOLD today. We will be having 4 more fire drills and practicing the remainer emergency protocols in the near future. We will practice a secure, lockdown, evacuation and shelter. Please discuss with your child or children the importance of these drill and that we practice them to keep the children safe. Thank you for your support as we strive to put procedures in place to provide a safe learning environment for all students.

Dear New River Primary Afterschool Tutoring Parents, The last day of afterschool tutoring will be Thursday, May 2, 2024. Thank you for the opportunity to work with and support your child’s learning. Please continue to work with and read with your child throughout the rest of the school year and summer.

Dear New River Primary Families, First, we would like to thank all of you who have supported the Penny Drive to help the families who were impacted by the recent storms. Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 16, 2024, is the last day to donate pennies or any other amount of money to this worthy cause. You all are really appreciated.

Dear 2nd grade Families Please remember field trip permission slips and the $15 are due no later than April 17th. Also the waiver that came home today must be signed and returned by the 17th. Without the waiver students will not be able to participate in the activities. It’s very important that all of these items are returned.

Dear New River Primary Instructional aides, We need an aide to ride for Mary Stonestreet bus 2441 tomorrow. You will need to meet the bus at OHMS at 8:45 am. If you are able to ride the bus please contract Mrs. Bishop.

Dear New River Primary Staff, We have power on the Oak Hill Campus and we will be having school tomorrow. We need to get eyes on our students and provide a warm meal and a warm place for them to learn. I wanted to let you know so you can prepare. We still do not have power in Fayetteville however I know the Hico area was hit pretty hard. Please keep them in your thoughts and if you are in a situation you need help please let me know or someone close to you. If you have any questions please let me know.
