Dear Parents at Pine Knoll Apartments and others: NRP Kindergarten Teachers and Staff on site to register incoming Kindergarten students at Pone Knoll Apartments Conference Room Saturday, April 5, 2025, 9:00am to11:00am. Students must be five (5) years old on or before June 30, 2025. Parents/Guardians please bring the following: *1. Birth Certificate (Certified from the State Registrar, WV Department of Vital Statistics) 2. Immunization Records 3. Child’s Social Security Card (not required) 4. Proof of Preventive Heath Screen/Well-Child Exam in last 12 Months 5. Proof of a Dental Exam 6. Proof of Residency (Utility Bill) *Forms will be available to request certified WV Birth Certificates. Please bring a check or money order for $12.00 payable to the WV Department of Vital Statistics. *Every child registered on this date will receive: ~A Popsicle Prize ~A Book Gift ~ Family Entry for a Mr. Coffee Espresso/Cappuccino Machine Please know that you do not have to live at Pine Knoll Apartments to register your child. Dear New River Panther Families, This is a reminder message that the PTA is here at New River Primary passing out popcorn from the Fundraiser sale. They will be distributing popcorn in the bus loop until 8 PM. If you are unable to pick up your popcorn, you may send someone to pick it up for you. Thank you! Mr. Jones

Dear Panther Families, New River Primary has three announcements: First, this message is regarding popcorn delivery. Due to a scheduling conflict, we will be handing out popcorn orders on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 6pm-8pm in the bus loop. If you are unable to pick up your order, you may send someone to pick it up for you. Also, our monthly PTA meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 2 at 5:30pm. Secondly, the last day to return the Spring Picture Proofs and money is April 3, 2025. If you place your order after this date you will have to place your order online. Dear Parents and Families, This message is to remind you that we will have parent teacher conferences tomorrow Monday, March 24, 2024 from 4:15 to 7:00 PM. Please do not arrive early as we will be having bus dismissal until 4:00 PM. The Save the Children after school program will be remote and all students will be missing at 3:30. Dear New River Primary Panther Families, This message is for parents who prepaid for meals to eat with their child or children tomorrow Thursday, December 12, 2024. If we would have a delay tomorrow the luncheon will be canceled. If this were to happen we have a plan in place for you to come to school and eat lunch with your child when it is best for you and your schedule. Details will follow if this would happen. If we do not have a delay please plan to arrive 30 minutes early so we can get you checked in and ready to eat as close to your time as possible. Everyone attending this event must a photo ID ready to sign in. Please look for where you are to sign in when you arrive to the school. Please remember parking for our school is at OHMS or in the gravel parking lot at the top of the hill.
