Senior Awards will be held this Friday at 9AM in the Auxiliary Gym.
Good afternoon parents and guardians of Midland Trail High School. Today at approximately 11:10AM Midland Trail High School administration was made aware of a possible threat to the safety and well being of the students at MTHS. Out of an abundance of caution, it was decided to evacuate the building. During this time Midland Trail High School with assistance from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department and Fayette County Schools conducted an investigation to determine the credibility of the threat. It was determined that students and staff were not in danger of a return to the classroom. Classes resumed at approximately 12:55PM. The incident remains under investigation, and action will be taken upon completion of this investigation. We appreciate your support in keeping all students and staff safe. We also extend our appreciation to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department and Sheriff Fridley for their prompt response and assistance.

This is for 8th grade students going to Carowinds. There will be a meeting to fill out paperwork on Friday, 4/28/2023. We will have notaries present to fill out the medical release forms. It starts at 4pm. The paperwork will go out tomorrow 4/25/23. Thank you.

Good evening the following 3 buses will be on Plan B for Friday April 14th 2023.
Bus 111 Michelle Smith's bus will be doing Plan B on both the morning and evening runs. Students will be picked up approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes later in the morning and will leave the school at 12:30 in the afternoon to bring the students home.
Bus 1510 Dave Wood's bus will be doing Plan B on the evening run only and will leave the school at 12:30 in the afternoon to bring the students home.
Bus 1204 Faye Dequasie's bus will be doing Plan B on the evening run only and will be leaving the school at 12:30 in the afternoon to bring students home.

This is a reminder that MTHS will be administering the SAT School Day exam tomorrow to all Juniors! 9th, 10th, and 12th grade students are not to report to school tomorrow.
On Wednesday, April 12 all Juniors will take the SAT School Day exam. Students in grades 9, 10, and 12 will not report on this day.
Have questions about Testing? School Safety? Schoology? MTHS will be offering information on these topics tomorrow from 3PM-6PM. Sessions will last 30 minutes and will repeat every 30 minutes.

Your student received there 3rd nine weeks grade card today, 3/31/23. Virtual school grade cards will be mailed out next week.
Attention 8th Grade!!
We will have a parent/student meeting for all students entering 9th grade next year on April 26 at 4PM! Please plan to attend; information will be given about graduation requirements, scheduling, and athletics.
Prom tickets will be sold until 4/14/2023. After that you will have to make arrangements with Mr. Crouch. Cost is $25 a ticket.

This is the last week to send pictures for the Senior slideshow that will be played at the awards assembly. Seniors and early graduates need to send 2-3 pictures to be put into the slideshow. All pictures must be sent to Layla Tompkins. Information of her email is in your student's email. All pictures are due by Friday, March 31, 2023, or they will not be presented in the slideshow.
