Early Learning Standards (ELS)
The West Virginia Early Learning Standards Framework outlines what children should know, understand and be able to do. The ELS are the curriculum for all Fayette County Universal PreK classrooms. The learning environment for PreK children includes developmentally appropriate experiences in social/emotional development, the arts, physical health, language and literacy, mathematics and science.
