As a reminder, parent drop off for OHMS enters beside NRI and circles around to drop off beside NRP. No vehicles should attempt to enter the parking lots of FIT, OHHS or come down the hill to OHMS. To help alleviate traffic, students can exit their parents vehicle before getting to the stop sign beside NRP as well. Thank you!

As we approach the first day and weeks of school, we want to remind everyone to have a high level of grace and patience for our Middle School community - in our parking lots and roads leading into and out of the campus. Each of our students will be moving in many directions and their safety and needs are our primary focus.
Many families choose to drop off and pick up their children those first weeks of school, so the car lines may be longer than usual. Please plan accordingly.
Please know that we have our safety systems in place and will work as fast as we can, but SAFETY is our NUMBER ONE PRIORITY each and every day.
To pick up / drop off your child via car, please turn in at the Intermediate School and proceed down the hill. Your child will be guided to the front of the Primary School for you to pick up. As you exit, you will go up the hill (not out Halstead).
Attention all OHMS students and parents: School will dismiss 30 minutes early on August 15, 16, and 19 (Thursday, Friday, and Monday). Please expect students to arrive home earlier than normal on those days. Dismissal time will be 2:05. This means that any students who need to be picked up early for an appointment must be signed out no later than 1:00 on those 3 days.
OHMS will host an athletic parent meeting for all parents/guardians and students who plan to try out for a Fall sport Thursday, August 8th at 6pm in the OHMS gym.
Reminder that 6th grade orientation is tonight at OHMS from 6-8. We will also be selling lockers/combination locks for students for $5 and t-shirts and hats as well for all interested. Shirts are $20 and hats are $25.

There will be an informational meeting for anyone wanting to run Cross Country on Tuesday, May 27th at 6pm at the soccer field concession stand.
Any student interested in trying out for cheerleading there will be a 2-day stunt clinic at OHMS May 29th and 30th from 4-6pm. Please have a new physical dated after May 1st if you plan to attend.
Bus 2099 will operate on a plan B run tomorrow afternoon. The bus will be at OHMS at 12:30 to take them home and will be at the elementary schools at 1:00 to take them home.
