We had a wonderful first day of school, which included inviting our senior parents to watch their students walk the red carpet as they entered OHHS for their last first day! ❤️🖤 #ClassOf2025
All students should plan to take a picture in order to receive a student ID. Students will receive proofs approximately two weeks after picture day and can choose to order at that point if they were not pre-ordered. ❤️🖤

Congratulations to sophomores Zev Knight and Andrew Wingrove, “Team 6062”, who were awarded the WV State 2024 Let’s Fly Launchpad Award for their student designed RC plane and video submission. These students earned grant monies for the OHHS aerospace engineering program. #6062 was the tail number for Glamorous Glennis, the Bell XS-1 aircraft that USAF Captain Chuck Yeager piloted in 1947, exceeding the speed of sound in history’s first supersonic flight. Congratulations! ✈️

A big thank you to New Roots Community Farm in Fayetteville for hosting some of our junior students yesterday as they volunteered to help with the plants and grounds. These students are currently working on a Problem-Based Learning Project about food insecurity, food deserts, and unethical farming, and this allowed them to both see potential solutions and discuss issues with the organizers who are working on putting an end to all three of those issues in different ways. 🥕🥬🍠
