In conjunction with their Exploring the Gorge PBL about the public transit issue that exists in our region, a group of sophomores and juniors had the opportunity to complete an array of hikes throughout the New River Gorge, such as Long Point, Kaymoor Top, and Endless Wall.
Thanks to their teacher chaperones Mrs. Hardman, Mr. Wingrove, Ms. Denny, Mr. Kent, Mr. Bay, and Miss Kirk for hiking around 7 miles and 1,000 feet of elevation with these students today! #OAKStrong

Some pictures are worth a thousand words, but this picture is worth approximately $726,000! Yesterday, we celebrated our 33 Promise Scholars (so far!). At $5,500 per year across four years, these 33 dedicated students have earned themselves an incredible scholarship award amount, and we are so very proud of them. With an SAT administered just this morning, and four more opportunities to test this year, we're certain we will see this number grow! ❤️🖤 #OAKStrong
