Homecoming week activities:
Monday is little Miss and Mr. day. Everyone will wear their class color to the Powderpuff Football game at 7:00. Freshmen-blue, Sophomores-purple, Juniors-pink, and Seniors-black. The classes can earn extra points by showing up to the game.
Tuesday is pajama day.
Wednesday is Adam Sandler Day. The parade will be in Ansted at 5pm. Line up at 4:15.
Thursday is Vine or Meme day. The classes can earn extra points by showing up to the middle school football game at 6pm.
Friday is Spirit day (red,white, and blue). Classes can get extra points by showing up to the game at 7:30pm. Mr. and Miss Patriot will be crowned at half time.
Saturday is the Homecoming Dance from 7-10 pm grades 9-12. Out of school guest forms must be turned into Mr. Crouch by 9/14/2022.
Homecoming Attendants Ballots are in your student email. You can vote until 9/1/2022 at 3 pm. We will announce the Attendants on Friday 9/2/2022.
Prom planning meeting for Juniors and Juniors’ parents on Wednesday, 8/31/2022, at 5 pm.
Fall sports pictures will be Wednesday, 8/31/2022. Picture forms will be given out Monday, 8/29/2022. You do not have to purchase pictures, but you need to have your picture taken for the yearbook. Please bring your uniform. Also, high school student council ballots are in your student’s email. The election will end Monday, 8/29/2022 at 8am.
Due to the WV Turnpike closure, it is possible that some buses could arrive home later than expected. Thank you for your patience as we safely transport students home this evening.
Band practice and the parent meeting for today 8/23/2022 has been canceled. The parent meeting has been moved to Thursday 8/25/2022 at 4:30pm.

*Parents arriving before entry for pick up will be staged across Route 60 and will be allowed entry on campus by Officer Brandstetter.
WVU Tech courses begin on Wednesday, 8/17/22. Students don’t return to MTHS until 8/22/22. It will be necessary for you to access your course(s) this 1st week & complete any required introductory assignments. You should have your WVU Tech 800 ID number and username in a letter over the summer. If you have not taken courses previously, you will need to 1st claim your student account at login.WVU.edu and follow the prompts.
Parking passes for Seniors and Juniors will be on sale at open house on Thursday 8/18/22 from 3-5pm and on Friday 8/19/22 from 8-11am.
If you are enrolled in online classes through Glenville, your classes start today 8/15/22. You to logon and complete your 1st weeks assignments.
Due to flash flood warning in the area Summer Band is canceled today 8/15/2022. Practice will be Thursday 8/18/2022 3-4pm
The 2022 Homecoming game will be Sept. 16, 2022 and the Homecoming Dance for high school students is Sept. 17, 2022.
Middle school SOCCER PRACTICE
Monday August 8th through Thursday August 11th 4:00 to 5:30 at MIdland Trail Baseball Field
All physical forms must be filled out/signed and turned in prior to any child practicing - there is a front and back to the form. One is the parental consent the other is the physical form!

Band students 7-12 need a physical dated after May 1, 2022. The Midland Trail Clinic is still giving free physicals. Please have these done by next week and given to Ms. George. Thank you.
MTHS Summer band practice will begin on Monday July 25 from 8-2. Please bring a lunch and your own water bottle with you. A revised schedule will be handed out on Monday so please plan to attend. This schedule will also be posted on the MTHS Marching Band Facebook Page. Please join if you are a parent of a member of the MTHS Marching band.
There will be a meeting Thursday, 5/26/2022 at 4:30 pm for seventh graders and parents to discuss the planning of next year’s 8th grade trip and dance.
