Midland Trail High School is excited to welcome our incoming 6th grade students and families to the 6th Grade Transition Academy on July 30 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The transition from elementary school to middle school is an important step in a student’s educational journey. This event is designed to help students feel prepared, confident, and connected as they begin their time at Midland Trail High School.
During the Transition Academy, incoming 6th grade students will have the opportunity to explore the school, learn about daily expectations, meet staff members, and begin building relationships with classmates. Students and families will receive helpful information about routines, academic expectations, student support, attendance, behavior, and ways to get involved in school life.
Our goal is to make sure every future Patriot starts the school year with a strong foundation and a clear understanding of what it means to be successful at Midland Trail. Just as importantly, we want students to feel welcomed, supported, and excited about the year ahead.
Families are encouraged to attend with their incoming 6th grade student. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, become familiar with the building, and learn how Midland Trail High School supports students as they grow academically, socially, and personally.
